Refunds

When Moorline refunds a subscription, and how to ask. Effective 22 August 2026.

How it works

  • Within 30 days of a charge, monthly or yearly, the charge is refunded in full on request.
  • After 30 days, cancelling stops future charges and access continues to the end of the period you paid for. The elapsed period is not refunded as a matter of course, though see below.
  • Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, and usually appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
  • The licence stops working when a refund is issued. Your mail is untouched and stays on your own mail host.

Beyond 30 days

If something went genuinely wrong, ask anyway. A yearly subscription bought last month for a Mac that turned out not to meet the requirements, a charge you did not expect, a bug that made the app unusable for you: these are worth an email and they get sorted out.

This is a one-person business, which means there is no policy to hide behind and no escalation queue. It also means the answer comes from someone who can simply decide.

Before you file a chargeback

Please email first. A chargeback costs a small business a fee on top of the amount and takes weeks to resolve, while a refund request takes one message and is usually done the same day. There is no situation where the chargeback gets you your money faster.
