Your licence
- A subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to run Moorline on up to 3 Macs you control, for as long as the subscription is current.
- You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software or your licence key.
- Sharing a key beyond your own machines is what device limits exist to prevent, and a key found in public circulation may be revoked.
Billing
- Payment is taken by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- Cancelling stops future charges and leaves your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, the licence stops validating and the app stops working. Your mail is unaffected.
- Prices may change for future periods. Existing subscribers are told by email before a change takes effect and can cancel rather than accept it.
Refunds are covered separately in the refund policy.
Requirements and what the software does not do
- Moorline requires macOS 26 or later. There is no Windows, Linux, web, iOS or Android version.
- It requires a mailbox that supports IMAP and SMTP with password or app-password authentication. Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com are not supported, because Microsoft has retired that authentication.
- It is built for one person. There is no shared inbox, no assignment and no roles.
Your data and your responsibilities
- Your mail stays yours. Moorline reads it from your provider and stores a local copy on your Mac. It never becomes the only copy of anything.
- Keeping your Mac backed up is your responsibility. The app keeps hourly local backups for a week, which is not a substitute for a real backup.
- You are responsible for what you send to your own customers and for complying with the law that applies to you when you do.
Warranty and liability
Moorline is provided as it is. It is one person’s software, and while it is built carefully and used daily by its author, no warranty is given that it will be free of defects or suit a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal or by writing to contact@moorline.app. A licence may be terminated for resale, distribution or use that is unlawful. If that happens without cause, the unused portion is refunded.
Changes to these terms
Material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Moorline after that means accepting them; if you would rather not, cancel and the refund policy applies.
